Terms

Terms of service

These terms govern the Sclerite Home Audit website, private workspace, one-time Household Audit, and optional ongoing monitoring service.

Effective September 5, 2026

Provider and eligibility

Sclerite Home Audit is provided by Sclerite, a Kansas sole proprietorship (“Sclerite”). You must be at least 18, be able to form a contract, and have authority to connect every account you submit. By using a paid or connected feature, you accept these terms and the Privacy Notice.

Service and pricing

The Household Audit is a one-time $72 purchase that analyzes the available trailing account history and produces a professional report. After the paid audit, you may separately opt in to Ongoing Monitoring at $13 per month. Monitoring is not sold by itself, is never included or started automatically, and continues until canceled. Taxes, if any, appear in hosted checkout.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide lawful access only to accounts you own or are authorized to use.
  • Connect the household accounts needed for a complete result and answer material gap questions accurately.
  • Protect access to the ChatGPT account used for sign-in and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Review the report’s stated coverage, assumptions, and unresolved items before acting on it.

No professional advice

Outputs are educational financial analysis and are not individualized legal, tax, investment, credit, accounting, or financial-planning advice. Customers should use qualified professionals for decisions requiring that expertise.

Acceptable use

  • Do not access another household, submit unlawful data, reverse engineer protected systems, or interfere with availability.
  • Do not probe for unauthorized access or use automated traffic that burdens the service.
  • Do not resell, misrepresent, or use a report as a regulated professional opinion.

Financial accuracy

The deterministic ledger is designed to make arithmetic reproducible. A production report will still depend on institution coverage, customer answers, transaction completeness, and disclosed assumptions.

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Stripe processes payments. Monitoring may be canceled before the next renewal through the billing portal. Refund eligibility is governed by the published Refund Policy. A refund may end access to the refunded paid deliverable, except where law requires otherwise.

Availability and warranty

Sclerite works to keep the service accurate and available but does not guarantee uninterrupted provider connectivity, complete institution history, or a particular financial outcome. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Sclerite is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Sclerite’s aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service during the prior 12 months. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes, suspension, and governing law

Sclerite may update these terms prospectively and will post a new effective date. Access may be suspended to protect customers, providers, or the service. Kansas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes that cannot be resolved through support may be brought in courts with jurisdiction in Kansas.
